Frequently Asked Questions
There's no question too small, I'm here to help get the best results possible for you.
-
Do I need to be in crisis to work with you?Not at all. Many of the women I work with are high-functioning but quietly carrying a lot inside. You don’t need to be falling apart to deserve support. If something in you is whispering, “I can’t keep going like this,” that’s reason enough to reach out.
-
Shouldn’t I be able to handle this on my own? You’ve handled a lot — that’s not in question. But there comes a point where doing it all yourself stops being sustainable. Healing isn’t meant to happen in isolation. The most powerful shift can happen when you get the right kind of support — the kind that meets what’s going on underneath, not just what’s visible on the surface.
-
I’ve tried so many things before — what makes this different? This isn’t another mindset hack or wellness trend. It’s body-based, trauma-informed, and works with your nervous system — not against it. Most of my clients have already tried talk therapy or coaching, and while that’s been helpful to a point, something still feels incomplete. This work gets to the root patterns that keep you stuck, and helps you shift from the inside out.
-
What if I don’t have time for this?I hear this all the time — and it’s exactly why this work matters. When your nervous system is more regulated, life feels lighter. You move through your day with more ease, clarity, and energy… without pushing. I work with people who have full schedules, and we’ll shape this process to fit your life, not the other way around.
-
What if I don’t even know what I need? That’s completely okay. You don’t need to have the words. My role is to help you gently connect the dots — to listen to what your body has been holding and guide you home to yourself. We start small. We go slow. You’re in charge of the pace.
-
Will this feel too intense or overwhelming? This work is designed to feel safe and grounding. It’s not about cracking you open or diving into trauma. It’s about helping your nervous system come out of survival mode at a pace that feels manageable and supportive. Nothing is forced.
-
I don’t want to revisit old trauma — do I have to?No. We don’t need to talk through every detail or re-live painful memories. First, we build the capacity in your system to feel safe and grounded. When emotions or memories do arise, we’ll work with them gently — not by getting stuck in the story, but by helping your body process what’s still being held.
-
This all sounds really gentle… will it actually help?Yes. Gentle doesn’t mean ineffective. This approach is deeply rooted in neuroscience and works with your biology, not just your thinking. It creates real, lasting change — not through force, but through deep, sustainable shifts in how your system responds to life.
-
I’m not used to letting people in. How do I know I can trust this space?Trust is something we build together. You’ll never be pushed or rushed. We begin with a free connection call so you can get a sense of me, ask questions, and feel into whether this space feels safe and right for you. You set the boundaries, and we go at your pace.
-
What results can I expect from this work?Every journey is unique, but common outcomes include feeling more emotionally regulated, connected to yourself, and able to respond to life’s challenges without becoming overwhelmed. Clients often notice better sleep, fewer physical symptoms, more energy, clearer boundaries, and a deeper sense of calm and resilience.
-
Is this therapy or coaching? This work bridges elements of both. I haven’t done a coaching qualification but I am an accredited therapist. This work is primarily therapeutic in nature and grounded in trauma-informed principles. It focuses on nervous system regulation, embodied awareness, and emotional integration, all the while, I coach you through the process.
